Vision:
On-air newscast, is pact with information. Some known in advance, but however, given the platform, information arrives on a moment-to-moment basis. This lays a constraint on the ability to create visually aesthetic graphics on the spot to the viewers. Therefore a system that could automate visually aesthetic information graphics is in need.

Framing:
I was instructed to relieve myself from constraints. And whatever I would find and develop, could be executed by the developers. This component will be built from scratch. I Therefore searched for a way to enhance the component capabilities in its goal as an information vehicle.
Iteration:
Various options and behavioural systems has been explored. But have not met with project goals.
Facing The Challange:

Pre-Determined area
Typography
The designated area is fairly small. Therefore the key was the typographic elements of leading, weight, and size. Wrapped together with motion.

Sealed Brandbook
Lack of communication between my side, the design, and the programmers, due to the contractor. Led in the past to the poorly executed result. Therefore the creation of a sealed guidebook that the contractor could pass through.

Create a new branded "Bullet Point"
Iterations
Brand constraints had to take into account. Finding an element to replace our current "bullet-point" within company guidelines seemed close to impossible. Numerous iterations with no compromise on brand guidelines.

Manipulating Attention
Insertion of data by this component has behaved as a unifying element, One size fits all, and in one stroke. When your goal as a news show is to grasp the audience's attention. By reintroducing the insertion of visual data to the screen, one segment at a time, I have multiplied the chances of attention grasping and raising the audience's attention. However, the additional component should never outshine the main cast. Resulting in a subtle detailing of movement and timing.

Takeaways:
When you are searching for solutions, it would be fairly easy to get lost. As the opportunity to search for new behaviour systems and ideas has been suggested, I quickly found myself "flying high" bringing back creative ideas, thanks to the conference I have in the art director and vice versa to keeps me safe from going too far.
