Challenges

01

Should remain neutral

and not overshadow

the article's voice and tone

02

Designers who operate

the graphics should have a

One-Click update solution

without compromising

visual quality

Will have Newspaper

Look and Feel

Framing:

My first prominent challenge was the demonstration of a newspaper look and feel across the studios monitors. I had to develop cheerful design elements that will make it through the decreased quality of the monitors, and back to the viewer at home. Furthermore to develop the file in a way that will preserve design consistency across various designers.

Facing The Challange:

1.
Should remain neutral and not overshadow the article's voice and tone

Primitive, simple shapes, with neutral colors and texture. While keeping them under a hierarchical proportion of 40% percent or lower.

A whisper

2.
Designers who operate the graphics should have a one-click update solution without compromising visual quality

Each graphic designer in our team possesses a different skill level. By separating the internal file into effects and data. I'm relieving the team from handling any other part except the data. keeping them and the design safe.

I Do Me, You Do You

3.
Will have newspaper look and feel

Studio monitors and Studio settings challenged the possibility of this design type. The texture of paper and halftone texture struggled to come through without proper adjustments. And assisting with the support of basic shapes to set the magazine tone and fill any design gaps.

Stay in shape

Style Guide:

Takeaways:

Weekend magazine has taught me that however details are important, strong preliminary shapes can carry your design and your message. As for the file, I have learned that when I think a setup is simple enough, I should keep simplifying it. This could have been accomplished with greater ease with user testing. by allowing participants to use the product. And see their pain points and address them.
